What are affiliate links?
Some of the links on Sweeter Little Home are ‘affiliate links’. This means that when you click one of these links and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission. Importantly, there is no additional cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether you use the affiliate link or go directly to the vendor’s website.
In the interest of full transparency, all posts containing affiliate links are clearly marked with a disclaimer. This means you can choose whether or not to click these links (though I always appreciate it when you do).
What types of affiliate links do you post?
I never want to give my readers bad advice or recommendations – you’re the entire reason this blog is able to exist! As such, I only use affiliate links to recommend:
- Products I personally use and love.
- Products I have heard good things about
- Products I think you would find useful (for example, a particular brand of paint for a DIY project).
Why should I click your affiliate links?
Have you ever been to a website only to find it so covered with ads that you can hardly read the content? I definitely have, and it’s not what I want for Sweeter Little Home.
Instead of ‘in your face’ ads, I use affiliate links to help cover the cost of keeping Sweeter Little Home online. When you use affiliate links, you give me the ability to keep this website up and running, for which I am incredibly grateful.
What affiliate programs do you participate in?
I currently participate in the Amazon Associates affiliate program. When you click an affiliate link, as an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
I also currently participate in eBay Australia’s affiliate program and a number of programs through Shareasale.com.
